16 Aug Collision repair apprentices rebuild vehicle for education programme

Three Māori and Pasifika collision repair apprentices have rebuilt a damaged Toyota Aqua donated to the InZone Education Foundation.

The project was coordinated with support from AA Insurance and provided the apprentices with practical collision repair experience while supplying a vehicle to an organisation supporting Māori and Pasifika rangatahi through education and accommodation programmes.

Why this matters for Repair Certifiers

This is a positive example of practical industry training and workforce development. Developing capable collision repair technicians is increasingly important as vehicle structures, materials, joining methods and electronic safety systems become more complex.
