Complaints

We understand that, on occasion, customers may have concerns or complaints about a repair certification. If this happens, the customer should talk to the Repair Certifier to resolve the issue. If the customer is not satisfied with the outcome, they can complete the online NZTA Vehicle certification complaint form.

Customer’s Role in the Complaints Process:

  • Customers should provide clear, relevant information when lodging a complaint. This includes any supporting documentation, photographs, or details of the issue.
  • Cooperation with the Repair Certifier during the investigation is essential to ensure a smooth resolution process.
