What is an LT307 / LT308?

When a vehicle is referred to a Repair Certifier for assessment to determine if the vehicle requires repair certification, the Repair Certifier will complete an LT307 or LT308 form (as applicable), which is provided to the Entry Certifier to progress entry certification:

  • An LT307 (No Repair Certification Required Declaration – Light Vehicle) is used when the Repair Certifier has inspected a vehicle and determined that it does not require repair certification.
  • An LT308 (Light Vehicle Repair Record of Certification) is used by the Repair Certifier to record the details of a repair certification.
