Where a bumper cover or radar-related area has been repaired or refinished, Repair Certifiers should not assume that a visually acceptable finish means the repair is acceptable. The current OEM information should be checked for the specific vehicle, including any restrictions on repair materials, refinishing, paint thickness, colour formula, bumper replacement, calibration, or post-repair checks.
